Meet Monocle: an entirely open source AR wearable. With the target audience of hackers and coders, this product is designed to be taken apart.
My designs started around the concept of building blocks and blueprints. Then, working with a 3D animator, I layered in several dynamic 3D animations. I also sourced and directed product photography. The final designs capture the movement of this product — it's something you'd take to capture memories of everything around you.
