The concept of Coral&Pearl is an e-commerce destination to not only purchase books about the Baha'i Faith but to help new or young Bahai's learn more about the Faith. We designed the home page for two entirely different types of users: one who will come in with something very specific in mind, and one coming in to discover something they didn't know they were looking for.
To solve this, I added a robust search function to the hero section. A user can land here and search for something specific, or send themselves through a funnel of filters. There's also a large section dedicated to new Bahai's, to help them start discovering what it is they want to learn.
